Nights Watch AI Defense & Assurance
Nights Watch is a modular AI defense and assurance framework designed to secure the visual domain and protect mission-critical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) imagery pipelines. While computer vision models are central to modern defense operations, they remain highly vulnerable to adversarial AI deception, such as model evasion and data poisoning. Because these technical manipulation techniques bypass traditional network-layer cybersecurity entirely, they threaten autonomous targeting precision and expose the digital kill chain to catastrophic tactical failure.
Acting as an operational AI trust layer, Nights Watch integrates seamlessly into existing workflows without adding operational friction. The solution provides comprehensive end-to-end security by subjecting AI models to adversarial stress conditions to quantify risks before deployment, persistently scanning live data streams to detect exploits in real time, and delivering automated recovery actions to restore compromised models instantly.
Field-tested at TRL 5 and maturing to TRL 6 under an Army SBIR Phase II, Nights Watch delivers 97% adversarial detection accuracy and 99% model performance recovery. Built on Red Hat OpenShift, it transitions from cloud environments to resource-constrained tactical edge hardware with zero code changes, ensuring warfighters can confidently trust AI-driven decisions in contested battlespaces.
PLANK: Predictive Logistics Autonomous Network Kill-Chain
In multi-domain operations, the disconnect between operations and logistics creates a dangerous gap in combat readiness. Fragmented systems like AFATDS require intense manual effort to track ammunition consumption, resulting in severe lag between expenditure and resupply and placing unnecessary cognitive burden on Soldiers in contested DDIL environments.
Developed under a Direct to Phase II SBIR for JPEO Armaments and Ammunition, PLANK is a TRL 6 data mesh platform purpose-engineered to bridge this gap. At its core, PLANK features a patent-pending Military-to-JSON API translation technology that ingests legacy Mounted Mission Command messages—MIL-STD 6017 VMF and Protobuf—and instantly translates them into clean, structured intelligence. By filtering system noise and delivering only high-quality data, PLANK provides an agentic AI-ready format optimized for edge models.
Leveraging this optimized data stream, PLANK’s DeepAR forecasting engine achieves 87.5% accuracy, replacing static Controlled Supply Rates with dynamic alerts. Hybrid AI agents and edge-capable models like Google Gemma enable Soldiers to use natural language to instantly analyze ammo status. PLANK deploys via containerized architecture onto tactical hardware like the KLAS VM4.0, ensuring local functionality even when disconnected from the cloud.
By delivering optimized COA recommendations for resupply and cross-leveling, PLANK reduces Soldier burden, accelerates decision-making, and ensures combat lethality is never limited by the speed of the supply chain.

Proven Operational Impact (TRL-7)
Our team leveraged NT StudioDX to solve a critical operational challenge: automating Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) target recognition to improve decision-making timelines. By providing an air-gapped environment that mirrors high-side development—complete with Python IDEs, scalable GPU compute, and secure data storage—the platform successfully advanced a prototype model to TRL-7.
