Mission Focus: This program will provide support to the Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) Training & Evaluation Directorate. You will be on the ground floor of developing a testing program of record whose aim is to provide a comprehensive suite of integrated testing tools which can be deployed widely across the Department of Defense enterprise to address key T&E gaps. In particular, you will support the testing of AI system performance, cybersecurity, adversarial resilience, and explainability.
Clearance: SECRET clearance is required to start. Some positions may require obtaining TOP SECRET with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Location/Flexibility: Work shall be performed onsite at the offices of the Chief Digital and AI Office in Falls Church, VA and Arlington, VA. Telework eligibility will be determined by the COR on a case-by-case basis after TO award.
Responsibilities:
As a Level III Graphics Designer, you will:
- Be responsible for design and production of regional corporate marketing materials; brand strategy; graphics support for all JAIC missions
- Collaborate with mission teams and the communications team to design custom graphics, videos, and three-dimensional animation for digital platforms
- Make deliberate design decisions and translate any given user experience into a smooth and intuitive interaction
- Work closely with the UX lead and developers to ensure that designs meet the UX specifications and are implementable by the development team
- Conduct ongoing research to identify new design trends and UX strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphics Design or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design field
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Sketch, Cinema 4D, InVision, Figma etc.
- Basic understanding of front-end languages
- Experience working in agile teams with a UX lead, developers, testers, and project managers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Adobe Suite certification
- Proven track record of design for governmental or security agencies
- Work with AI related projects
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
