Robin G. Mathis, Attorney
Robin G. Mathis is a Northern Virginia native who graduated from Virginia Tech in 1982
with a degree in political science and in 1985 from Mercer University in Georgia with her Law degree.
Robin has focused her nearly 20 years of practice on real estate law. Even though conducting real
estate settlements is the main focus of her practice, Robin also reviews contracts and represents buyers
and sellers in transactions involving builders and For Sale by Owners.
Robin is a member of The State Bar of Georgia and the Virginia State Bar.

Mary Goddard
Mary Goddard is our post closer. The job of the post closer is to balance each case
and disburse all monies from a file. Mary sends all required documents to the
courthouse, including releases of mortgages. She is in charge of tracking all escrows and tax payments.
Mary has many years of post closing experience and brings much accounting
experience to her job.

Leslie Gunnels
Leslie Gunnels is our underwriter. Her main job is to issue the title insurance
binders that go to the lender and the title insurance policies.
Leslie has been associated with the title industry for 30 years, even owning her own title examination company.

Janet Holderman
Janet Holderman is our new case processor. This is where it all comes together.
Some of the things Janet does in preparing a file are collecting payoffs from existing lenders and
repairing title issues. After everything is clean and ready to go, Janet coordinates the entire process
by making sure loan papers are on time and correct, collecting insurance certificates and termite
reports and generating the settlement sheet known as the HUD 1.
