Founded in 1884 by representatives of 69 confectionery manufacturing firms, the National Confectioners Association is one of the oldest, most respected trade associations in the world. Today there are more than 700 member companies representing confectionery manufacturers, brokers and suppliers.
Over the years, the association has endeavored to provide the kind of vigorous leadership necessary for its members which include domestic and international confectionery manufacturers and suppliers to the industry to meet the increasingly complex challenges and problems that have confronted the industry.
Today, NCA is the major association representing the entire confectionery industry, offering education and leadership in manufacturing, technical research, public relations, retailing practices, government relations, and statistical analyses.
As NCA grows, the association continues to provide those services that enable members to meet the wide range of ever-changing business challenges in the years ahead and improve the climate for the healthy growth of confectionery sales.
The mission of NCA is to foster industry growth by advancing and promoting the confectionery industry and its consumers. NCA focuses on:
