Michele A. Bolos, President

Michele Bolos is the President and founder of Next Tier Concepts (NT Concepts), a Microsoft partner since 1999. She has over 17 years of experience in Information Technology, and plays a key technical leadership role in all of the company’s engagements. Exceptional customer service is a key focus of her business philosophy, and this is integral to all elements of our business. She has a technical background and served as a senior architect and team lead in many of NT Concepts beginning projects.

Prior to founding NT Concepts in 1998, Michele worked as a consultant for API/Wang Global, Mobil Corporation and Talus where she served as a senior technical consultant.

Michele earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1990. She is an Executive Board Member for Gabriel Homes where she serves as the chairperson to the fundraising committee. She is an active member in the Women in Technology women's business owner and girls in technology special interest groups. She volunteers for the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Gabriel Homes and organizes a triathlon to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation each year.

Mark T. Cosgrove, Vice President & Principal

Mark Cosgrove joined NT Concepts in 2004, and is responsible for business operations. He previously served as the Vice President of IT Services at L-3 Communications Government Services Inc. During his 18 years at L-3, Mark has played a key leadership role in every major IT system that was delivered to the Government. His wealth of Navy and ship construction knowledge, coupled with his keen customer focus, allowed L-3 to anticipate and proactively adapt to the Navy's evolving needs. He also spearheaded the development of an environmental management suite of applications. Under his leadership L-3 matured the use of mobile technology for shipboard inspections and expanded the NAVSEA IT support to include NMCI and management analysis and planning support. His efforts in the mobile technology were recognized with its receipt of the CY2000 Government Computer News Award for Innovations in Information Technology.

Christopher J. Cusano, Chief Information Officer & Principal

Chris Cusano leads the IT Services business line. Before joining NT Concepts in 2004, Chris was the IT Director at L-3 Communications Government Services Inc. where he managed their 50-person division providing software development and network operations services.

During his 12 years at L-3, Chris led service efforts for Department of Defense, Department of State, local government, and commercial clients. At L-3 he re-engineered their IT services methodology and organization, resulting in vast improvements in deliverable quality and customer satisfaction. He also served as the Program Manager for several Government services contracts.

He has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. He was commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1987 and after 5 years of active duty service he continues to serve as a Naval Reservist in both the Surface Warfare and Special Warfare communities. He is an NDIA Certified Configuration and Data Manager and a DOD qualified Instructor.
